Nothing Less Than Perfect.....
I don't mean to brag but the weather here is nothing less than perfect.
Blue skies, as far as you can see, a nice breeze blowing off the ocean, and the sound of the waves crashing into the white, sandy shore.
I close my eyes and get lost, at least for the moment.
It's so soothing.
So peaceful.
I could stay right here, in this spot, forever.
Not a single care in the world.
We've been watching the dolphins play right in front of us all morning.
I've seen them early in the morning, but never this late.
There's a lot of boats out and they are following along, playing behind them.
I tried to get some pictures, but it's hard to predict exactly where they will resurface.
The girls are sleeping in today.
Of course, there's nothing unusual about that.
Haley developed an earache and swollen lymph node.
I called her Doctor yesterday, who called her in some medicine.
Hopefully, it will work quickly so she will feel better soon.
Thank you, Dr. Lovato, for taking care of us.
We watched the fireworks from the Beach last night.
They were amazing.
As I type this, the Coast Guard Helicopter is doing its daily coastline flyover.
I LOVE that!
It's one of my favorite parts of being at the beach.
Ok, where was I?
I'm at the beach.
We have a new Cabana Boy today.
I can't imagine why?! ;)
All I need is my umbrella moved every now and then.
That is not asking too much.
We have no real plans for this vacation.
No agenda.
That's the way I like it.
Isn't that what vacation is supposed to be about?
It makes me a happy, happy girl.
I'll be real happy when my girls are feeling better.
Til next time.
Love you MUCH!

Where is Mom?.....
You all know I am proud to be an American.
The price of Freedom isn't, nor will it ever be, free.
It comes with a HUGE price that we should never take for granted.
This Blog comes to you from the beautiful beach of Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Literally.
As I type, I can see waves crashing before me, and endless blue water.
A Coast Guard Helicopter is flying over,
their occupants waving to us below.
Of course, I'm certain it's me they are waving to. =)
Multitudes of families are beginning to make their way to the beach.
Kids are laughing.
Music is playing.
Sand castles are being built.
Books are being read.
Me?
I'm sitting on a lounge chair, under an umbrella
strategically placed by the Cabana Boy to keep me out of the Sun.
Not a care in the world, at least, not right this minute anyway.
The real world will come soon enough.
For the next few days though, it's Family, Sun
(yes, I will eventually leave the comfort of this umbrella),
sand, water, flip-flops, no make up, and seafood, my favorite.
2 little boys are fishing right in front of us.
They are probably 11 or 12.
They are using live mullet as bait.
They were so proud when they found this on the other end of the line.
Yes, that is a shark.
My question is, Where is Mom?
I'm sure you'll be hearing from me a lot this week, Friends!
But, right now, the Sun has shifted
and I must find Cabana Boy to adjust my umbrella.
Love you MUCH!

Good news!
Good news.....
Bronson is better, much better.
So much better, they are moving him to a room.
Bad news.....
He has a really bad infection that will require weeks of IV antibiotics.
He may have to stay at Children's the entire time if they cant do them at home.
Pray that they will allow them to do them at home.
Love you MUCH!

My Soul Is Weary.....
I have no brilliant or eloquent words.
That's nothing new, though.
To be honest, I'm pretty much at a loss for words.
My heart aches.
It aches for a Mommy and a Daddy who
are watching their child fight for his life.
It's a hell no one should have to endure.
My heart aches for Grandparents who are
helplessly watching their own children
endure the pain and reality of this hell.
To tell you the truth, it makes me sick to my stomach.
Like, literally, sick to my stomach.
I hate it bad.
My friends are hurting.
I feel helpless.
I do know, without a doubt, God has a plan in all of this.
Bronson being critically ill doesn't change that.
Let me say that again....
Bronson being critically ill doesn't
change the fact that we know, without
a doubt, God had a plan in ALL of this.
He formed Bronson, inside and out.
With His Hands, Bronson was fearfully and wonderfully made.
I don't know what the plan is.
I don't know what tomorrow holds.
I don't know what the next hour
or even the next minute holds.
However, I do know WHO holds every
minute and every hour of every day.
That will never change.
Ever.
Let us pray together for this sweet baby and his family.

Keep Praying.....
Bronson is doing some better.
Temp is down to 101.
He has an infection in his blood and is in septic shock.
It is not staph but we still don't know what it is.
Please keep praying.
